Villa del Conte Cioccolato

Saw Villa del Conte chocolate stall at Trinoma and purchased a small box to try my nose and tongue at chocolate tasting. I like the mint flavor of the praline stick but I was not able to distinguish the macadamia flavor of the praline ball. I still have to try the praline stick in banana flavor. But when I was made to taste their sampler I think it has strong banana flavor in it which is quite nice. I also got two pieces of their ovicini.

Their packaging is quite impressive. It seems though that they do not produce chocolate bars, only pralines. I like to try their gianduja next time.

For more information about the chocolate check this link - villadelcontecioccolato.com

Also I created a pinterest board for the chocolate here - http://pinterest.com/rahonpete/villa-del-conte-cioccolato-sublime/

  2. hehehe, chocolate tasting is akin to wine tasting. The chocolate is quite pricey, I think the dainty packaging is half the price hahaha, it is imported so I guess it is worth it, hmmm....

    1. well chocolate pralines are those that contain nuts and sugar syrup for fillings. There are bonbons also, small bite pieces of sweets with chocolate coatings. Different countries have come up with different names for sweets with chocolate.

    1. yes it is a stall by the elevator and opposite to it is another stall which is the Royce' chocolate stall. You can get some pieces of chocolates in 3's, 6's, and 9's. If I remember per piece of chocolate costs about 40-50 pesos? They also give free tasting.
