The table below came from Flavors of Cacao. Amazing review they've made of over a thousand dark chocolate bars. I particularly culled from their data base the Criollo variety since it is rare and the most prized among the three main varietals (forastero and trinitario). And I will definitely look out for these higher rated chocolate bars (although very few could be found in the market, but some hotels are selling these bars).
Although reviewing their rating of the Criollo type, still some brand get a low score of 2. Below is their rating system, (or link - http://flavorsofcacao.com/review_guide.html).
Flavors of Cacao 5pt Rating System:
5= Superb!
4= Highly recommended
3= Ranges from OK to very good
2= Disappointing
1= Dreadful
*Not all the bars in each range are considered equal, so as a way to show preference from one bar in the same range I have assigned either .25, .50 or .75.
